Ralph Street Laundry is a fully automated commercial laundry and linen hire company that specialises in servicing the Hotel and Hospitality Industry. We provide comprehensive linen programs complete with inventory management, branding and staff training. As a result of these services our clients have reduced their time, cost and direct expenses ultimately giving them peace of mind allowing them to focus on growing their business.

 

Our plant is located in the Sydney suburb of Alexandria with close proximity to Sydney’s CBD. We are proud to be one of Australia’s most technologically advanced laundry operations boasting a full automation in loading, washing, drying, ironing and folding. Our integrated equipment is provided by Jensen Group, the world’s leader in commercial laundry infrastructure.

Operations run 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with an incredible washing capacity of 2400 kg/hour. Reliability and speed of service are the two major benefits we offer our clients. Another key factor contributing to our success is the on-going training of our staff in all aspects of our business processes. Training programs are conducted regularly on site by a leading provider of training to the laundry and dry cleaning Industry. You can be assured that you are dealing with professional staff who understand your needs. Ralph St Laundry’s training programs are conducted by Laundry Dry Cleaning Training.

Australian Hygiene Standards

Comprehensive thermal disinfection is implemented in our washing process. Linen is immersed in 80oC water for a minimum of 10 minutes and supplemented with controlled use of chemical disinfectants to ensure that harmful micro-organisms and contaminants are neutralised in every wash cycle. We take hygiene seriously and ensure that every aspect of our operation complies strictly with Australian Standards AS/NZS 4146:2000.

Ecolab Pty Ltd is our preferred supplier of high quality chemicals and chemical dispensing systems. Chemical injection is controlled and monitored ensuring that the right amount of chemical is used based on the weight and type of linen being laundered.

What Sets Us Apart

Logistics

When it comes to delivery, our fleet of vehicles is owned and operated by us, no contracted services. We have complete control over our distribution. Our trucks are fitted with a GPS tracking device which is monitored from our Alexandria plant. At any point in time the exact location of your linen is known to us. In cases where delivery is a matter of extreme urgency, we have the quick responsiveness to redirect our resources where they are needed most … and the best thing is no additional charges are placed on our customers! This is a service we are happy to provide.

Dependabiltiy

We have our finger on the pulse at all times from touch screen work tracking to a complete integrated workflow software solution. With our impressive washing capacity our internal systems significantly reduce error and keep production running smoothly at all times.

Automation

An upgrade has established us as one of Australia’s most automated commercial laundries. With less human contact on your linen the risk of microbial cross contamination is radically minimised. Our fully automated clean rail ironing system (the first in NSW) is operated with state of the art controls. Each clip is installed with individual RFID chips so that linen is identified individually and ironed at the right temperature, speed and pressure. Our ironer is fitted with infra-red scanners – each and every piece of linen is scanned for stains and tears and sorted according to its condition.
